Four years ago today:
On April 18, 2019, the stray cat Piaopiao died in an accident. He left behind five little kittens who were not yet a full moon and passed away. With too much reluctance, he left the earth and went to the cat star.
Piao Piao and I met by chance. We found a long-haired tabby cat in the factory behind the office building. It was trotting along the corner. I called out "Mimi" and Piao Piao immediately stopped and looked at me. I tried to step forward, but Piao Piao quickly ran away and disappeared. Without a trace, I shouted "Mimi, Mimi"...
The next day, a cat meowed from the green belt in front of the office building. I followed the sound and saw a pair of eyes looking at me. The "Mimi" appeared in the middle of the call. I said, "Wait for me here tomorrow and bring you cat food."
Sure enough, Piaopiao was waiting for me in the green belt early the next morning. I put two plastic boxes in the green belt, one for cat food and one for water.
From then on, it never stopped. No matter if I was resting, sick or on a business trip, I would entrust my colleagues to get cat food under my desk and feed the cat for me.
Piaopiao is a stray cat who is used to being free after all. We often see her once in the morning but not again after get off work. One time when it was time to get off work, I just drove out of the gate and saw Piao Piao Feng Feng rushing into the gate. In fact, I knew that Piao Piao must be rushing back to see me, there was a clear understanding!
Time flies to 2019. After the Spring Festival and in March, spring flowers are blooming. Piao Piao miraculously gave birth to quintuplets in a storage room where debris was piled under the stairs of an office building. No one knew it at the time.
Due to work reasons, I didn’t see Piaopiao for a while. It wasn’t until one day when a colleague who lived in the workplace came to me with a cardboard box that I learned that Piaopiao had given birth to five children.
A magical thing happened. I witnessed Piao Piao running toward the factory with a little milk cat in her mouth in front of the office building. It turned out that Piao Piao found that the child was missing when she came back. After finding the cardboard box, she quickly moved the cat.
As a mother, Piao Piao used five back and forth runs to move all five fur babies to a safe place.
After finding Piaopiao, it was like an agreement. Piaopiao squatted on a tree stump every morning and waited for my arrival.
Because I am afraid that it will affect my work, I arrive at the workplace on time at 6:50 every morning.

I rushed to the unit factory early in the morning. Piao Piao was not waiting for me on the tree stump. "Piao Piao, Piao Piao" did not respond. I suddenly had an ominous premonition. I hurriedly looked for it and found Piao Piao in a corner. Piao Piao was lying on the ground for some unknown reason, her body stiff. The cardboard bucket next to which the furry children were living fell to the ground. Three of the five kittens were missing and were nowhere to be found. Piao Piao must have used all her strength to grab the cardboard bucket at the last moment of her life so that the furry kids could escape.
The scene in front of me shocked me. I couldn’t care about anything. I quickly put the two little kittens into the bucket and looked around for the other three little kittens, but I couldn’t find them.
With a heavy heart, she buried Piao Piao in a Beijing opera garden not far from her work. For the first time in her life, she shed tears for a stray cat...
Piao Piao will always stay in the Beijing opera garden. Her head is facing the east, she can always see the rising sun, and she is always full of hope.
After Piaopiao was buried, I vowed to let Piaopiao rest in peace. I took Piaopiao's orphans Xiaohua and Xiaohei home without hesitation.
Xiaohua and Xiaohei were adopted by two loving people. Xiaohua’s name is Luna. She is favored by the heavens and is lucky and happy.
Xiao Hei successfully became a father, and Piao Piao became a grandmother.
