According to the British media "Give me sports", Newcastle has notified Isaac that he must train alone, and the training time is completely staggered with the team's joint training time.

The report pointed out that Isaac is pushing for transfers to Liverpool and chose not to go to Asia with the team to participate in the preseason tour. Although the club explained this as a minor thigh injury, it was actually Isaac himself who decided to stay in the UK.

Liverpool had bid 110 million pounds to buy Isaac in July, but Newcastle immediately refused. The Reds said they would not make any further offers unless they received positive signals from Newcastle. However, this does not mean they have given up, and as Isaac's relationship with the club becomes increasingly tense, the possibility of his transfer to Liverpool still cannot be ruled out.

Isaac returned to Newcastle training base on Monday and held talks with club executives, including head coach Eddie Howe.

The British media learned that it was Eddie Howe who personally decided to let Isaac train alone on Wednesday and informed the decision in person. Eddie Howe made it clear at the press conference that no player who pushed to leave the team could return to the team directly.

On the other hand, Newcastle insiders revealed that the possibility of forcibly retaining Isaac under the existing contract is extremely low because it will intensify friction between players and clubs. The club is concerned that Isaac may refuse to play in Premier League matches in August, and despite the World Cup year, the long-term deadlock is unlikely to continue after the transfer window is closed.
