Sunderland announced the release of the 2025 commemorative jersey earlier this week, and the men's team will wear this limited edition jersey during the warm-up before the weekend's game against Arsenal.

According to Sunderland officials, this year's limited edition commemorative jersey, priced at 50 pounds, is designed to pay tribute to soldiers and fallen soldiers. Its design is based on Seaham's famous "Eleven-O-One" statue (known as the "Tommy Statue"), decorated with different gray tones on the entire jersey.

This commemorative jersey features a traditional poppy pattern on the chest and the words "We Must Not Forget" printed on the reverse of the collar. A portion of the proceeds from every jersey sold will be donated to three partner charities: The Red Bench Project, Veterans Care for Veterans and East Durham Veterans.

The first team will wear this commemorative jersey during the warm-up for the club's Remembrance Day match at home against Arsenal this Saturday.
