Previously, Isaac had informed Newcastle that he hoped to explore the possibility of a transfer this summer, and Liverpool had informally contacted the Swedish striker. Isaac is currently conducting personal training at the training base of his old club Real Sociedad, and his future in Newcastle is still unclear. The former Real Sociedad striker is currently using the Basque Club training facilities for recovery training, choosing to do it in his free field and a team he hired to assist with minor hamstring injuries.
Isaac transferred from Dortmund to Real Sociedad in 2019 and played for the club for three years.
