However, after the rise and development of Taipei Xing, a large population has flowed out, and Keelung has gradually moved from prosperity.

In recent years, the Keelung Municipal Government has actively promoted historical culture and urban preservation, reshape the city landscape, and created a new landmark "Keelung Tower" less than 300 meters away from Keelung Port. It is 58 meters high. It is designed with a bridge-type crane. It takes an elevator to reach the top platform, and you can see the beautiful scenery of Keelung mountains and seas, and walk the sky trail to the master's house. The air raid shelter behind Keelung Tower is connected to the Xin 2 air raid shelter. The entrance to the Xin 2 air raid shelter is located next to the Zhongzheng Park sign building and opposite the Xin 2 three-dimensional parking lot. While retaining historical meanings throughout the whole city, exhibitions can also be held internally in the future.
